 Hello Lafayette students, family, and staff!

I am excited to be joining the team this year in Troy as the new School Counselor. 

My Professional Background

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia with 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with children, adults, and families in a variety of settings including residential treatment facilities, home-based programs, outpatient settings, school-based support services, and private practice. 

My Philosophy

I believe in building upon strengths and teaching effective tools to problem-solve and manage concerns we encounter in life. Counseling is a journey of self-discovery and growth through teamwork. 

I am looking forward to meeting everyone and please feel free to seek me out as needed.
